Easy to Filter through D.C. wasteland

D.C. has long been a barren wasteland for espresso lovers, bereft of truly independent coffeehouses. That scene, however, is starting to change, led by the best espresso bar in the city, Filter Coffeehouse.

Third Rail first stop in the Village?

With Caffetteria now shuttered — and I’m still mourning that development — the best bet for a cappuccino in the Village or Soho is Third Rail Coffee on Sullivan Street, just a few short steps from Washington Square Park.

The best cappuccino in the world?

There is only ONE place in all of Berlin in which you should fill your java itch, and that’s Bonanza Coffee Heroes in Prenzlauer Berg. Everything about this place screams unique, and uniquely satisfying.
